However, it came up with the secure boot is not configured in the bottom right corner and then after a couple of restarts later it came up with just a blue screen on start up.
Could not log into my pc, could only get into it through safe mode and tried everything I could and everything I found online, but all no good. So, I have had to restore my pc back to windows 8, then back to windows 8 pro and then onto windows 8 pro with media centre. All product keys that I used for the restore were my original product keys purchased from Microsoft when windows 8 first came out and when the media centre was offered as a free upgrade for windows 8 buyers last year.
All product numbers have been activated by microsoft and all updates have been done, so my machine is fully up to date. I have not reinstalled any of my progs apart from Norton and have since gone back to windows store to download windows 8. Plus, don't want to have to buy a box set as I should be able to upgrade it from windows store, like I did before my pc went wrong. This thread is locked.
